Antipasto
Antipasto is a chopped medley of vegetables including but not restricted
to onions, mushrooms, cauliflower, olives, celery, carrots, beans
and zucchini cooked in a tomato-based sauce to a thick, spoon-able
consistency.
It's usually served as an appetizer to spoon on top of crackers or
bread crisps. There are typically two versions of Antipasto, one,
a traditional recipe containing seafood such as tuna and/or shrimp
and the other being a vegetarian version of the classic. |
